Join members of the original Little House on the Prairie cast for a historic evening at the Grand Ole Opry on Friday, September 11, 2026.

The cast will honor Johnny Cash and June Carter Cash as we celebrate the 50th anniversary of their memorable performances in Little House on the Prairie’s Season 3 premiere episode, “The Collection.” The evening will also feature the inaugural presentation of the Little House on the Prairie Legends Award in their honor, recognizing the lasting contribution Johnny and June made to Little House and to American music and culture.

In another extraordinary moment, Charles “Pa” Ingalls’ actual fiddle will travel from Rocky Ridge Farm in Mansfield, Missouri, to be played live on the Grand Ole Opry stage for the first time ever. For Little House fans, it will be a rare opportunity to hear an instrument intimately connected to the real Ingalls family and to the musical heritage that helped inspire Laura Ingalls Wilder’s timeless stories of life on the American frontier.

Throughout the evening, members of the Little House cast will appear alongside distinguished country music artists for a celebration of music, memory, and shared American tradition.
